I WANT TO BECOME AN ORDAINED MINISTER
You’ve got a heart for helping people through life’s big moments—and now you’re thinking about how to do that in a more intentional way. Maybe you’ve always felt connected to something bigger, even if traditional religion didn’t quite fit. If you're drawn to serve with compassion, authenticity, and a sense of purpose, becoming ordained through the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM) could be a meaningful next step.
CIMM is a federally recognized religious body that empowers ministers to perform legal weddings in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon. As a CIMM Minister, you're legally authorized to marry any two consenting adults in love—regardless of gender, previous marital status, religious background, or cultural identity.

What is Metaphysical Spirituality?
Metaphysical spirituality is a non-dogmatic, inclusive approach to spiritual life. It emphasizes:
-
The interconnectedness of all life
-
Love, peace, compassion, and presence
-
Inner growth, intuition, and self-awareness
There’s no single doctrine to follow, and no one way to practice. CIMM ministers come from all walks of life — some from religious backgrounds, others from none at all. What connects them is a shared desire to serve others, grow spiritually, and live in alignment with their values. Your ministry can look like:
-
Creating personalized ceremonies for weddings, memorials, or other milestones
-
Offering spiritual coaching or healing practices
-
Hosting meditation groups, study circles, or online communities
You can learn more about CIMM’s structure, mission, and approach at www.canadianmetaphysicalministry.com.

Final Assessment
You’ll complete a short quiz and submit a sample ceremony to demonstrate your understanding and readiness.
Â
