Meet our Founder
Karen Trines (she / her)
Karen started her journey as a wedding planner, where she noticed a major gap in the industry: couples were struggling to find modern, inclusive officiants who could deliver meaningful, personalized ceremonies. In 2020, she launched her own officiant business to fill that gap—and it quickly grew into a thriving team performing over 100 custom weddings a year across Ontario and Quebec.
Now, through the Canadian School of Wedding Officiants, Karen is sharing her experience to help the next wave of officiants create unforgettable ceremonies and build fulfilling businesses of their own.
